I didn't take that many pictures from our visit with Michele which I totally regret. She kept taking them with her phone so I wasn't thinking about a camera. Anyway like I said before we had the best visit and I miss her already.

Happy Birthday Natalie!

Natty Bug turned 1 this week, but the really exciting news is my sis surprised me and flew in the night before the party. I had no idea she was coming, even Josh was able to keep it a secret. I'm so glad she was able to spend Natty's birthday with us.

I'm back

Now that the boring month of January is over I may have more things to blog about. I took Wes to probably the worst circus ever. I was actually afraid for the performer's lives. Most of you have heard the stories. But basically ther was a lot of falling and things that went wrong. Wes loved it though, so I guess that's all that matters.

We have a walker, she started totally walking on her own 2 weeks ago ( so at 11 1/2 months) she will be 1 on Wednesday. Stay tuned for birthday party pics

and I had to include this picture just to remember, Wes had his appointment at Primary Children's (he had a heart condition called pulmonary stenosis when he was born) thankfully everything is continuing to look great and now his appointments will be every 5 years. So happy that he will never have any restrictions.

 

Is January over yet?

January is THE most boring month of the year. It's cold (like wayyyy cold) dreary, snowy and nothing fun going on. Natty's birthday is coming up though in a couple weeks and Wes is starting gymnastics I'll have to take some pictures to document that.
I have been doing fun things to her hair almost every day and this is what it looks like when I take it out. Don't let this face fool you, she hates my guts while i'm taking the elastics out.

Wes and I go to the waffle truck whenever we can, it is our favorite snack. If you have not gone...GO, like now, they are so good. This particular night was so busy and it was probably about 5 degrees out. We got our yummy waffles though, so worth it.

and this is the newest face, I can't believe I got a picture of it. It is hilarious when she glares at us like this, then when we laugh it makes her do it more.

 

She's gettin big

My Natty bug is getting so big, I just had to show my first "hair-do" I never thought I would be able to do a little girls hair. I honestly have been stressing about it since I found out she was a girl. It wasn't so bad and I actually like doing it, plus it gets that mess out of her face. Also today she took a couple steps by herself. She is by no means a walker, but it was pretty exciting!

Snow Days

Now I hate snow as much as the next girl, but when you have a kid that love it this much your attitude kind of changes. When we got back from Virginia Utah was covered in tons and tons of snow. We have gone sledding bunches, but I only took pictures once. Wes has even been begging to go play the past few days that is has only been about 15 degrees out.
