My big boy!

Can you believe he is standing already. I didn't think this would happen until about 9 months. He pulls up on everything all by himself.

I thought it would be funny to put Wes in positions that I had him in when he was really tiny. I think the botton pictures was when he was about a week old. Please disregard his white trash pajamas in the first picture, yes those sweatpants are too short for him, but he only wears them in the morning when he is crawling around. I swear he doesn't go out in public like this. haha
How do you like his crossed eyes?

Pioneer Day

Whose child is this? He doesn't like cotton candy.
Yes we gave Wes some cotton candy, so sue me. He hated it any way, I think it was just because it tickled his face.

We went to the Mapleton city festival thing that they have every year. It was pretty cute, but nowhere near as good people watching as Art City Days. Everyone looked so normal, it was a little heartbreaking for me. People watching is my favorite past time.

visit with aunt shell

My sis came to visit this weekend and we had the best time! I already miss her and wish she could come back. Wes seriously loved her so much it was so cute. We went swimming, shopped in Park City, and went up provo canyon one night with josh. Having her here makes me want to move back east even more, we'll see i guess. These pictures are from our day at the pool. Doesn't Wes look so cute in his new hat.
He likes to put his face in the water and drink it. Gross, I know

dinner in provo canyon

While Michele was here we went up Provo Canyon to make tin foil dinners, yummm! Michele had never had a tin foil dinner before so we had to enlighten her, she also made a banana boat (banana, chocolate, marshmallow). I think she loved it.

Our tin foil dinners, even Wes got some.
This was our attempt at a family picture, I was cracking up because Josh is so annoying when trying to take pictures and Michele was making me laugh by making fun of him.

Swimming Lessons!!

Some of you know that I was a big swimmer growing up so I really want Wes to like the water. Me and Marie and Ailee signed out little ones up for lessons at the Lindon pool. They were everyday for 2 weeks, but they were only 30 minutes long. I don't think we got that much out of it but at least we had fun. The teachers seriously had no idea what they were doing, but like I said, it was fun.

More swimming lessons

Wes and Sophia trying to get their toys by kicking to them.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall...
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall...( or was pulled into the water by his mom)
And how can we have swim lessons without being dunked a few dozen times. I am determined to get this kid swimming by next summer. I'll keep you updated
