Frustration!

Well eventually I will post something new. My freakin camera is a piece and I am in the process of buying a new one. I did buy one the other day and it took great pictures, but it was too slow taking the picture and every one I took of Wes looked like a deer in headlights (worse than usual). Ahhhh! I am so frustrated, I just want a decent camera to take FAST, candid pictures of Wes. The longer I have hold the button down he realizes I'm there and just stares straight at the camera, then the flash blinds him. I know that some of you are great photographers (Ash and Whitney), so if anyone has any recommendations that would be great. I also don't want to spend a ton.

I can't believe Josh was willing to take this picture, he didn't put up a fight or anything. Josh is such an amazing dad, I love seeing the two of them together. By the way, this is Wes's latest way he likes to sit and sleep. how funny, he is such a relaxed dude.

For Father's Day I helped Wes make two things for Josh, this picture is the first. He finger painted it and I framed it.

We also made this shirt, yes it was almost impossible to get Wes to lay his hand flat and by the end me, wes and the kitchen were all covered in paint. I think it was worth it though.

WES UPDATE: So while we were in Virginia Wes started sitting up and now he is really good at it. He also got his first tooth and then exactly 10 days later he got his second tooth. Now it hurts like crap when he sucks on our fingers. The first one is almost completely through and the second is about half way. He is also really close to actually crawling, he is really good at the army crawl though and way fast too. I can't believe he is 6 months old, i think i say it every month but, wow time goes so fast.

It's official...

I am a bad mom. I really want Wes to get used to water and learn to swim really early, so we dunk him occassionally. These pictures seriously break my heart when i see his little face. It isn't that bad when I'm actually doing it because he is fine after a couple seconds.

Charlotte!

We drove down to Charlotte to visit Michele for a couple of days. We spent all day Wednesday at the lake (i did not put wes in the lake) it was so much fun. I also finally got to meet Michele's boyfriend who's name is Josh. haha

I don't really like any of the hats that are out for babies so this is what Wes wears in the pool. He is such a bad ass!

More Virginia...

My mom bougt this little pool for Wes and he loved it. We only put a couple inches of water in it but he just splashed around.

Wes loves popsicles, we made them out of gerber baby juice and he sucked them down so fast.

This is Hines and Wes, I really don't think Hines likes Wes all that much since he is used to getting all the attention.

Virginia!!

Wes and I took our second trip to Virginia and we had such a great time. It started off pretty rough though. Wes was a nightmare on the plane ride there I felt so sorry for everyone sitting around us.
