Wes' hair was pretty long (for him) for a while so I experimented with some fohawks (i don't know how to spell it). They were so frekin' cute but josh absolutely hated it and his hair was cut the pretty much the next day.

Last Saturday was Marshall's 2nd birthday, Wes had so much fun and got to have a cupcake all to himself. I figured the best way to let him go at it was shirtless.
I was seriously shocked when he started climbing this latter by himself. It is tilted a little but he was so proud when he got to the top, he clapped and everything. What a big boy, also this was the day he turned 16 months. Time is seriously flying by.
I feel like Wes is pretty independent and advanced in some things he does like walking and crawling, but i can't seem to let him learn how to eat by himself. It is messy and takes forever. I have been consiously trying to let him do it more and this is is what I get, a kid covered in pudding. It was also in his hair but you can't see it.
I hope you enjoy the randomness of these pictures. We really haven't done much lately so I was grasping at straws.

We will miss you Butt Boy

Today one of my mom's cats (she has 2) died. We got them, Murphy and Emma, when I was 15, so 13 years ago. Murphy was mine, but I haven't taken too much care of him since I moved to Utah when I was 18. Anyway, this was a very sad day and he really was so sweet. Poor Wessy will now have one less cat to chase around and play with when we visit.
We love you Murph!

Yes, this was a post all about a cat and I am not embarassed one bit about it. hahaha

Look at these amazing pictures Rindy took. I love how the first picture really shows how beautiful his eyes are.

Easter in Saint George!

We went to St. George for the weekend and like always had a great time with our buds. Wes got a really great Easter basket and it had all of me and Josh's favorite candy in it...weird. He figured out that if he climbed on the kitchen chair he can eat as many jelly beans as he wants, until i took it away. what a mean mom.

We went to the park and he had his first real experience playing in the sand, yeah he was covered head to toe when we left.

he is so advanced, he already can climb trees all by himself.

Addie, Mia and Wes. It was pretty much impossible to get a picture of all 3 of them looking at the camera. I think Wes and Mia look like brother and sister. so cute!
We went to an Easter Party on Friday and of course Wes was the youngest one there and all he wanted to do was eat the robin eggs out of the bowl. He just hovered around it and stuffed as many as he could in his mouth. The party was so cute, they dyed eggs, had an easter egg hunt, played pin the tail on the bunny and ate rice crispy treats. Maybe next year I will have a party like that for our friends up here.

Addie has the coolest barbie jeep and she took wes for a ride and he was cracking up and smiling the whole time. We have to get one of those (not a barbie one thought)
