Kings Dominion

I need to do a whole post just on our trip to Kings Dominion. I have been going to this park since I was little and it was so fun to take my kids. Wes kept saying "This is the best place ever!" Now we just can't wait to go back when he is 48 inches so he can ride some really big stuff.

This is how excited he was when we pulled up and he saw the huge roller coasters

We got there before it opened

He was the first one on the Scooby Doo. Well it's not called the Scooby Doo anymore, it's the Ghoster Coaster but he thought that sounded too scary so we still call it the Scooby Doo

And of course my perfect baby was a perfect angel all day

Having lunch, Wes had pizza and Natty had a breadstick

This was one of the coolest rides. It's called Snoopy Driving School and the kids actually drove around the little track on their own, they were in total control of their car and it went wherever they steered it. I thought it was gonna be ugly but this kids drove pretty well. Wes even stopped at the stop sign, I was impressed.

Flying Eagles, my mom's favorite ride.

We got to take Natalie on the Old Timey cars. I think she loved it!

Taking after her Mama with the fried oreos

He was so tired he just had to take a little cat nap half way through the day.

The Avanlanche

See how they are the only ones on this ride. It wasn't crowded at all and most of the kid rides were empty. That didn't matter though Wes didn't want to ride the kid rides.

And we were there when the park closed. This really was the best day ever!

Off to VA...again

We are leaving in a couple hours to go to Virginia again so I thought I would do one more blog post before I overload everyone with more pictures from a trip back east.

A couple weeks ago Josh's mom made us go on a hike with them. It was pretty horrible, Wes whinned and wanted to be held the whole time. It was about 200 degrees out and I had to stand up to nurse the baby. So here are a couple pictures from that stupid day. The scenery was beautiful though

Look at Wes' muscles, his ribs sticking out really show how strong he is.

I made a sweet fort for some of the neighborhood kids one day. I hung sheets all around my bed and let them play in it. Please ignore what Wes is doing on the right picture :)

Natalie had her 6th month doctors appointment today. She weighs 13lb and is 24 3/4 inches long. She loves food though and I think will be crawling in the next month. We'll see...

My big sitter

My big girl started sitting on her own about 3 weeks ago. I can't believe she is doing this already, I feel like she is growing up faster than Wes.

Wes got ahold of my camera and did a little photo shoot with the baby

Summer Fun! July

I am finally blogging about all the fun stuff we did last month. Maybe if I didn't wait so long to blog I wouldn't have to overload everyone with pictures. Oh well, I know there are some of you (mum) who likes to have picture overload.

Ok...We started out the month with an awesome 4th of July. Josh unfortunately had to work, but we hung out with our friends the Anderson's first doing the Provo Parade, then a pool party at their Uncles house then fireworks. Natalie was decked out for the day I should have entered her in the baby contest

Wes has been practicing swimming without floaties and has done great considering he has never had lessons. This kid is honestly good at everything he does.

Oh this picture slipped in too soon. I had a little get together with a bunch of friends from home. 2 of them were missionaries that we became really good friends with.

This was at the fire works, which by the way were AMAZING. We were so close stuff was actually falling on us and the kids were collecting it.

Watching the parade

Josh's mom rented horses one day so we took Wes for a ride. I have to be honest, I don't know why I ever liked riding horses, even Wes was so over it by the end.

We did a lot, a lot of swimming this month we were either at our pool, or a splash park every other day. We love it though. Summer is the BEST!

Anybody ever go "crawdadin' " well we did. We went up to Strawberry for our friends birthday it was so fun  and hilarious watching everyone in the water trying to catch the crawdads.

The babes, having a blast I'm sure

Huck Finn Days with the Andersons, Wes seriously loves these kids they have so much fun together.

And don't forget the Strawberry Days Carnival. I just love our city! Every July they have a week of fun stuff for the whole family "Strawberry Days" We really took advantage this year and had such a fun time.

Wes and one of his buds, Tyson

Yep he ate that whole corn dog except for the couple bites that Josh and I stole.

Concert in the park, they had such a great time jamming to the oldies.

Eating the free Strawberries and Creme. I have to admit it is not my favorite but everyone else loves it

My Natty bug started eating solids and can't get enough. She loves everything and it getting chubbier because of it.

They are both getting too big

We probably go get Sno Cones 4 to 5 times a week. This is one of my favorite things about the summer it's cheap and yummy. We all love it

Well my last couple of pictures got cut off so you will have to stay tuned. They are the best ones!
