Here are just a few more pictures from VA.

I love this picture, they kind of have the same face.
Believe it or not we had a white christmas, but it rained all day long so by the next morning all the snow was gone.

Christmas in Virginia

We spent Christmas in Virginia (as we do every year) and it was great. We had fun just hanging out and eating. We did a lot of eating. My parents and sis loved playing with Wes and he really loved all of them. One person he did not love. SANTA...he wouldn't even sit on his lap for a second. I felt sorry for the guy. But it was pretty freakin' hilarious at the same time.

This was Christmas morning. He was very excited that Santa still came even though he was so mean to him.
Wes and Aunt Shel
This is my BFF Rhonda and her boy Carter. He is almost 3. I hate that we only got to see each other for a couple hours maybe we should move back there so we can hang out more.

Here are some pictures of the decorations. Everything has monsters on it but you just can't see them that well.

The party favors. Gummy candy everyone's favorite. (well at least mine)
One more messy face picture.

Birthday Party

I know this is way late but I had to post about Wes' big birthday party. We went to Kangaroo Zoo first and everyone had a blast then we went back to our house for pizza and cupcakes. The big kids loved getting to open all of the presents. Since Wes has no idea about opening presents I gave them the go ahead. I had a monster theme and I made all the decorations and invitations. You don't really see any of them in the picture but maybe i'll post some pics of them. Anyway the first birthday was a huge hit and it went by too fast.

These are all the kids who went to Kangaroo Zoo minus Marshall. I don't know where he went.

The good thing about Wes feeding himself a lot and getting sugar before his first birthday is he knew exactly what to do with his giant cupcake. He was completely covered and even had to have a bath as soon as he was done (right in the middle of the party haha).

Happy Birthday Wessy!

Happy Birthday to my little Wessy! (Well tomorrow, the 17th) I can not believe he will be 1 tomorrow. I can't look at these pictures too long otherwise I will cry. I am not a sappy person so I just want to say how blessed we are to have Wes in our lives. He is truly the most amazing baby/kid and we just love him more than anything in this world.

Isn't it funny how different he looks in these pictures. I think he was pretty cute when he was born but now I have to say he might just be the cutest kid ever. Sorry.

On my birthday we went to get our christmas tree. Wes was so cute and loved walking around all the trees. Can't you tell. These pictures kill me, it shows how happy and what an awesome personality he has.

Wes has actually been really good with the tree. I had to yell (yes yell) at him twice when he was trying to pull the whole thing down. Sadly it made him cry, but he hasn't touched the tree since. He is a very "touchy" kid so I thought having a tree was going to be impossible.

Funny story with no picture...Well I haven't had any funny stories of Wes in a while. I'm sure you all remember the thermometer story. (if not look back a ways in the blog it happened in the spring i think) Anyway, tonight I was outside installing Wes' new carseat and he and Josh were inside. Wes was having naked time after his bath, which he has had every night since he was like 5 months old. He was in his room "playing" then came out to see Josh and brought his blanket which was covered in poop. Yep, he pooped all over his floor. I actually thought it was hilarious and I'm surprised it hadn't happened sooner. I bet you guys are glad I don't have a picture to illustrate this story. the end.

I haven't blogged in a while and that is because our computer is a piece of crap. We have done tons of fun stuff lately and we have tons more to come. As an early birthday present to me (my b-day was Dec. 1) Josh got us tickets to see The Trans Siberian Orchestra! It was so awesome these are a couple pictures obviously they don't do it justice. The show had tons of lasers, lights and fire.

Of course I went to see New Moon the night it opened. I loved it so much I actually saw it again 3 days later. These are my friends I went to see it with. Ailee, Steph and Christy are in the back, and me and Marie in the front. The theater we went to had tons of giveaways and prizes. Everyone one something except me. I was bugged but the movie made up for it.
