Wes' hair was pretty long (for him) for a while so I experimented with some fohawks (i don't know how to spell it). They were so frekin' cute but josh absolutely hated it and his hair was cut the pretty much the next day.

Last Saturday was Marshall's 2nd birthday, Wes had so much fun and got to have a cupcake all to himself. I figured the best way to let him go at it was shirtless.
I was seriously shocked when he started climbing this latter by himself. It is tilted a little but he was so proud when he got to the top, he clapped and everything. What a big boy, also this was the day he turned 16 months. Time is seriously flying by.
I feel like Wes is pretty independent and advanced in some things he does like walking and crawling, but i can't seem to let him learn how to eat by himself. It is messy and takes forever. I have been consiously trying to let him do it more and this is is what I get, a kid covered in pudding. It was also in his hair but you can't see it.
I hope you enjoy the randomness of these pictures. We really haven't done much lately so I was grasping at straws.

  1. He is so darn cute and he is totally you and josh!! 50-50!! I love him and have to meet him!

  2. I want Tula to eat on her own, feed herself, but she would make the biggest mess. It takes soooo long to spoon feed her. ahhh!!

  3. OMGosh!! That is NOT messy!! Learning to eat is a messy process...put him the highchair in just a daiper, and have a bath afterward. They get the hang of it after a while and it gets cleaner, and it's so much easier!
