So, last week Wes and I went on ANOTHER trip. We went to visit my fam in Virginia. Ya know I was counting and he has been on 16 planes and he is only 10 and a half months old. ( I am counting the fact that sometimes we have layovers). It is actually getting better, he is such a trooper. Anyway all we really did was hang out. We went to the pumpkin patch one day and that was it. My parents had a great time playing with him and he had a really great time tormenting their cats. That was probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen. He just screams in their faces and when they his or bat him away he cracks up laughing. (sorry no pics of that).

Visiting my Fam...again!

More Virginia
I really felt like Wes needed to play in his first pile of leaves. This pile was pretty week 1. because I got tired of blowing them and raking them into a pile and 2. becauce most of the leaves were still on the trees. Its still fall there, unlike here where its winter.
See, isn't Carter so stinkin' cute. He has the cutest little southern drawl. I wish I could see them more often.
This is not a picture from Virginia. We went to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point with our friends the Magleby's. This is Sophia with Wes, don't they make a cute couple. (even though she's 2, he could go for an older woman)

Pumpkin Patch #2
By the end of this halloween season Wes will have gone to a pumpkin patch in Illinois, Utah, and Virginia. This is Hee Haws next to our house we went with Matt and Marshall. Marshall loved it and Wes really wasn't that impressed. Can you believe Marshall is 18 months and Wes is only 10 doesn't Wes look pretty much the same size as him. (that is Marshall to the right)
This slide was awesome it was pretty steep and really fast!First hair cut
AFTER...
So what do you think? Josh cut Wes's hair last week, he has been wanting to since he was like 6 months old but I told him he had to wait till he was 10 months. Wes will be 10 months on Saturday so it was just a week early. I actually really love it now, at first I was pretty sad he looks so grown up now. Oh and the picture below is what he does when he is unsupervised in our room. The bottom shelf are all his books so i don't really care, but the top shelf is all my books and cook books. What a turd!!

Chicago
Last weekend Wes and I went to Chicago to visit my cousin and her family. My mom and my aunt also flew in so we had a really fun weekend. Unfortunately I barely have any good pictures. We took pictures on 3 different cameras which was a big mistake. Anyway, we did tons of shopping, we went to Alex and Will's soccer games and Gindi (my cousin), Brian (her husband) and I went into the city one day. We also ate Chicago deep dish pizza. Yummy! I loved getting to see Alex and Will they are so sweet and they loved Wes (or Baby Weswy as Will called him).
I hope this picture isn't inappropriate since Alex doesn't have any pants on. He was waiting for his matching shorts to come out of the dryer. I guess even 7 and 5 year olds love Baby Einstein.
The Pumpkin Patch
On Sunday my mom and aunt Debbie took the boys to the pumpkin patch while Gindi, Brian and I went into the city. I don't have any pictures from our day in the city because I gave my mom my camera for the pumpkin patch. We went to Millennium Park and did a lot of shopping. I loved Chicago, in fact I think it is cooler than New York City. I was really sad to miss Wes's first pumpkin patch experience, but I guess it's ok it looks like he really had fun! How cute are the boys in their coordinating shirts, my mom didn't take any pictures of the three of them together so this is all we have. Maybe I can get some from my aunt. The boys were so cute together!
