Last week I took Wes to the dentist, not for any reason other than I felt like he has enough teeth and I wanted them checked out just to make sure I'm doing everything right with them. Well, he was great he opened his mouth and said "ahhh" when the assistant brushed his teeth, he let them put a flouride treatment on them and he got to play with the remote to the t.v. I actually can't believe how good he was, no crying or throwing any fits.

We went tubing with Josh's family last weekend. Well Josh and I only went down once and Wes was too young to do anything, but we did get to pull him around on the snow for a while and of course he loved it. thankfully it was a really nice day so we weren't too cold just hanging out in the snow. He could have sat in that tube and been pulled around all day long.

Last week Wes and I went to Virginia to visit my parents. We really had so much fun and the weather was awesome so we spent most of the time outside. Wes really loves my dad and they had fun playing in the yard and working on the truck together.

We went to the park two days because the weather was amazing. Isn't Wessy cute with Nanny's glasses on.

In our backyard we have woods and tons and tons of leaves. Wes loved playing in the leaves and he would purposely fall over and just lay in them. I don't think i'll let him do that when its hot out who knows what would crawl over him. gross

Wes loves my mom's cat Emma (aka doodle) and we decided that she loves him too. He annoys the crap out of her, screams in her face, grabs her tail and yet she keeps coming back for more. He did get bit about 4 times but that didn't stop him.

On our last day we went to Maymont Park for Wes to pet the animals and just play outside since once again it was so nice out. For those of you who don't know Maymont is a free park that has (or used to have) tons of animals. Now its just some goats, deer and a couple black bears. I have been going there since I was 3 or 4 and it was so fun to get to take my own son there.

My dad made this "house" for Wes out of his Lazy Boy chair box. It was so awesome and Wes loved it and played with it the whole week.

My sister was here for the weekend, and even though it was way too short we had a great time. Unfortunately she had a terrible flight coming and going (just a tip no one should EVER fly american airlines, they suck and I know lots of people who have never had a pleasant experience with them). On Saturday we tried to take Wes to the Lehi Legacy Center to go swimming and he absolutely HATED it. Yeah he was such a beast we had to leave after like ten minutes. It was really loud in there because they had a big bucket that filled with water then dumped out every few minutes. I know it sounds weird but it was loud and i guess he is a bigger wuss than I thought (wussy wessy haha). We also went to Cabelas to look at the fish and animals and of course we went shopping. We miss you shel!
